Chia Water

This nutritious beverage is balanced with the sweetness of dates and the citrus of lime to create a refreshing combination.

Ingredients

  • 480 ml (2 cups) water
  • 2 Tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 lime, peeled, halved
  • 6 dates, pitted

Directions

  1. Place chia and water into a sealed container and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Place chia mixture, lime, and dates into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  3. Select Variable 1.
  4. Switch machine to start, slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
  5. Blend for 35 seconds, or until desired consistency is reached. Divide into two glasses and serve immediately.
