Antioxidant Rich Smoothie

An assortment of fruits, greens, and flax seeds to boost your immune system throughout the year.

Ingredients

  • 240 ml (1 cup) pomegranate juice
  • ½ avocado, pitted, peeled
  • 4 dates, pitted
  • 2 Tablespoons ground flax seeds
  • 115 g (4 cups) baby spinach
  • 190 g (4 cups) romaine lettuce
  • 145 g (1 cup) frozen blueberries
  • 140 g (1 cup) frozen strawberries

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
  2. Select Variable 1.
  3. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
  4. Blend for 35-40 seconds or until mixture is smooth.
